Owner, Top Bar Equine Services
I've been involved with performance horses for as long as I can remember.
I grew up in the hunter/jumper world, competing throughout my childhood and into adulthood. In 2023, I made the jump into barrel racing and quickly fell in love with the sport.
“The horses may have changed, but one thing didn't: I've always been a performance horse owner looking for every possible advantage for my horses. That passion for performance horses is what eventually led me to equine nutrition.”
For years, I thought I would become an equine veterinarian.
Along the way, I completed university courses, worked as a groom and working student, trained horses, catch rode for clients, and spent time working on horses through equine sports therapy and as a certified MagnaWave practitioner.
Every step taught me something valuable, but I still hadn't found exactly where I fit within the industry.
Then I found equine nutrition.
What started as a personal passion quickly became the thing I couldn't stop learning about. Looking back, every role I've had in the horse industry has led me here—and I can confidently say I've found my calling.
Before I ever worked in equine nutrition, I was the horse owner trying to figure it all out myself.
I've spent years feeding performance horses and asking the same questions many horse owners ask every day:
Top Bar Equine Nutrition was built to help horse owners take the guesswork out of feeding and give them practical, individualized nutrition recommendations that make sense for the horse.
I'm a mom, barrel racer, horse owner, and lifelong student of equine nutrition.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me at the barn, at a barrel race, in the gym, out for a run, chasing my daughter around, or studying something nutrition-related.
And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Top Bar Equine Services operates 100% independently. We never accept feed manufacturer kickbacks or commissions on supplement sales. Every recommendation is built strictly around peer-reviewed nutritional science and what works best for your horse.
